DRILLING ENGINEER

Job Description & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for planning & Operations input as well as execution for drilling development wells offshore.
• Work independently to perform technical drilling engineering for well design, cost estimates, project planning & review of rig design, overall major project drilling operations for performance optimization.
• Participate in field reviews, peer reviews, optimization studies, and local operational knowledge/experience gathering.
• Wells are managed from the cradle to the grave, all 5 phases of CPDEP in this position.
• Other duties will include contract Management, performance tracking, writing SOPs, offshore visits, and onshore Drilling Superintendent relief.
• This position will work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop drilling services contract, both strategically & tactically on a daily basis across all operations, working to CHESM guidelines.
• Initially this position will be addressing a new operation start up from scratch requiring all contracts & materials to be put in place.

Education Qualification:
• BS, MS Optional– Bachelor of Science / Master
• BSC (Hons) or MSc (UK) – Bachelor of Science / Master

Work Experience:
• 10 + Years of experience in drilling and completion optimization, directional drilling & work over operations, well servicing (coiled tubing, acidizing, life boat operations) including program development & operational execution.
• Offshore operational drilling experience. Ability to coordinate a multitude of personnel & equipment in a fast paced multi-tasking drilling & completions environment.

Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Civil, Marine Engineering)
- Minimum 7 years’ experiences in offshore installation & construction projects, with 3 years working experience on supervisory level
- Preferably has sound knowledge of marine operational of an Accommodation/Construction Work Barge (AWB).
- Must have knowledge of oil and gas surface facility codes and standards, codes and regulations that govern construction work in the oil and gas industry; Marine and construction management; Marine spread management (monitoring & coordinating)

c. Monitor payment to be released and manage the receivables
d. Perform Bank Reconciliation.
e. Handling of banking and foreign exchange transaction of the company.
f. Control the receipt and expenditure of corporate fund.
g. Handle all matters related to the bank.

3. Cost Control (CC-F)
a. Monitors progress of project and identifies commercial opportunities/financial exposure as it affects the company.
b. Highlight any potential project cost impact and recommend corrective actions.
c. Responsible for contract changes and preparation of contract change financial datas
d. Responsible for claims preparation.
e. Understand project commercial terms & conditions and ensure that the project is in compliance with all the terms and conditions of the contract.
f. Provide analytical assistance on commercial negotiation on contract changes, claims etc. with customers and subcontractors.
g. perform special project assignments as requested.
h. Prepare monthly cash & Bank reconciliation, and submit to Jakarta Office
i. Process payment request,Field Reimbursement, cash advance and settlement by referring to Financial policy and regulation
j. Monitor and manage Material Inventory system and prepare MP04 (Material Movement reprort) report to Jakarta. Good understanding and Knowledge for KIMAP and supply chain is preferable
k. Coordinate,monitor, and check with Field manager or Operation department for KUD oil lifting and delivery status to Pangkalan Susu Pertamina .

4. Field Secretary (FS-F)
a. Having experience in oil and gas industry min 5 years.
b. Fluent in English both spoken and written, Mandarin skill is prefered.
c. Good computer skill.
d. Able to work well in a team or individually.
