URGENTLY NEED
Expeditor / Buyer
Responsibilities:
* Working with procurement, engineering, planning, project
controls, construction and quality department to ensure purchase
order requirements are understood and complied with by the
suppliers
* Establish communications with suppliers to enable timely,
accurate and forward-looking analysis of suppliers' progress at
meeting interim delivery schedules of supplier data, manufacturing
milestones, testing activities and materials / equipment delivery
* Preparation of expediting reports detailing suppliers'
progress, problems encountered and solutions to maintain
fabrication, testing and delivery schedules
* Require traveling to suppliers' locations and fabrication
shops to verify progress and to ensure deliveries are occurring as
required by the project
Requirements:
* Min. Diploma / Degree Holders. Preferably in Mechanical or
relevant Engineering
* Min. 2 years relevant working experience
* Possess analytical and problem solving skills. Accuracy and
attention to detail critical. Ability to meet deadlines and manage
priorities is critical. Strong written and verbal communication
skills in English are critical
* Independently works through individual projects and/or plays
key role in broader projects. Relies on systemic thinking and
understanding of broader organizational implications of the work
being performed to solve problems
* Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
