An Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is
operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. Having poured our
first gold bars, the mine and processing plant is now focused on
achieving the ramp up phase to go into full production. The open cut
mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a
conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and
ball milling and CIL, is targeting to initially process 4.5mtpa to
produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the
achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is
looking for candidate to fill the role:
Maintenance Planner – Fixed Plant (PRO 0972)
This position will be based at Martabe site and reports directly to
Senior Maintenance Planner.
The role of the Maintenance Planner – Fixed Plant ensures that all
routine maintenance activities in the Martabe Gold Process Plant are
appropriately planned (with Production and Maintenance) so that the
work is able to progress in a safe, environmentally responsible,
efficient, cost effective and repeatable manner. The "Maintenance
Planner" will optimize, and monitor compliance to, preventative
maintenance programs and schedules for all processing facilities and
ancillary equipment
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following
qualifications and experience:
1. Graduation from a standard high school, Qualified Trade and
Technical College Certificate
2. Minimum 2 years or more in maintenance planning role in Fixed Plant
operations.
3. Knowledge of fixed process plant equipment, tools and materials
used in the process plant in Mining industry.
4. Ability to organise plan and schedule using CMMS.
5. Compile daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans.
6. Ability to estimate the amounts of labour, materials, and equipment
required for jobs
7. Ability to prepare reports and maintain records.
8. Computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project & Outlook.
9. Ability to effectively communicate with all staff and display a
high degree of respect to all personnel.
10. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with
others as part of a team and contribute to a harmonious working
environment
11. Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to maintain direction
and achieve work objectives with minimal supervision
