About you:
You must have a solid, hands–on technical background using, supporting or selling reservoir modelling software. Your exact number of years of experience isn’t important, nor is your degree, but you must have a strong knowledge of contemporary geomodelling and reservoir engineering workflows and be ready to expand that knowledge with the industry’s best.
As well as being a technical high flyer, you should have a desire to work with multiple clients, geological environments and workflows. You should be a livewire – able to communicate your passion for great technology to audiences of all sizes. You should be able to take satisfaction not necessarily from a study completed, but from the knowledge that you’ve convinced a client on best in class workflows using best in class software and have assisted the sales team to their latest commercial success.
You are happy with 1-2 weeks travel per month, working with different clients. You have an understanding that overachieving performance attracts exceptional rewards.


About the job:

Reporting to the Technical Director, you are primarily responsible for assisting the sales team to increase our install base of geomodelling applications within South East Asia and to help develop and support existing customers within the same domain.

Key areas of responsibility: 
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to sales management and field marketing to ensure that BD opportunities are directed along the most appropriate technical path.
  • Take the lead role in managing reservoir modelling evaluations, often working with advanced users.
  • Perform workflow coaching and mentoring for clients.
  • Create and perform advanced geomodelling and reservoir engineering software demonstrations and presentations at customer sites and trade shows.
  • Provide feedback to our R&D and Product Management groups to contribute to our ongoing development and evolution of the industry’s best geoscience solution.
  • Assist the Technical Support team by delivering training classes and handling customer support queries when operational requirements call for this.
