Our company leading in Engineering, Procurement, Project Management
and Construction services for the Oil & Gas industry, is now seeking highly
qualified professionals to fill in position listed below:
Senior Buyer
Qualifications:
* Bachelors of Science in Engineering preferably major in
Mechanical Engineering from reputable University (GPA minimum 3.00)
* Minimum 8-10 years working experience in similar position
or similar field working with Major Oil & Gas Contractors / Companies
managed procurement of mechanicals packages, and other discipline major
packages with high complexity items.
* Having working skills in :
- Capable to read and
understand P&ID, PFD, Data Sheets, Specifications, International Standard
and Codes, Regulations, supply chain, incoterms, etc
- Oil & Gas
related courses such as PTK007, Negotiations Skills, Local Content, MIGAS
regulation, incoterms, etc
- IT knowledge :
MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point,
- SAP knowledge would
be advantage
- Strong leadership
and excellent English language skills
*Job Description :
- To manage the
assigned Purchase Requisition for project procurement during project execution
and during bidding phase as per Corporate Procedures and PTSI Work
Instruction Including to issue the RFQ
- Prepare the project
vendor list, follow up potential vendors, expediting the RFQ status, arrange
the technical clarification meeting and follow up the technical clarification
closely, Commercial evaluation, negotiation including
the preparation of the commercial bid tabulation
- Ensure the vendors
are fully compliance with Company Terms and Conditions.
- Issue Purchase
Order/Contract. Update the status report. Follow up any subsequent revisions of
the Order.
General Qualification :
* Fluent both verbal and writing in
English
* Able to work independently with
minimal supervision as well as a team
* Good analytical skills
* Pleasant personality, highly motivated and fast learner
* Computer literate, able to operate MS. Office is a must
