Head of Estimator
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Prepares or reviews early cost estimates
• Performs cost risk analysis as required
• Participates in evaluation of contractor(s) estimating capability
• Establishes proper cost estimate method & documentation
• Identifies cost estimate deliverables
• Sets &/or approves contingency
• Determines cost estimate format
• Sets escalation in accordance with company guidelines
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost,
materials, and labor estimates
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of major project experience
• Has clearly demonstrated strong technical competence
• Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment
• Demonstrated interpersonal / teambuilding skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
Engineering Manager
The Engineering Manager will support development in the Front End
Engineering
Design (FEED) of potential renewable projects, supporting projects in
ensuring
a cross package design that maximizes the value of the projects as well as
highlighting and addressing interface issues, considering constructability
and
operability. To support Operations & Maintenance in technical issues which
arise in the operations phase of the renewable assets and leading a team of
c10 engineering professionals.
The team works within a matrix structure, requiring the Engineering Manager
to
assess and balance the needs of their internal customers spread across
Development, Projects and Operations
Workshop Manager
Min. 10 yrs experience in managing heavy equipment workshop, within the open
gold mining environment; Workshop maintenance; Acute practical sense; Strong
technical heavy equipments moving, tools, machinery storage management;
Excellent English - verbal, writing and speaking.
Cost Controller
Minimum 7 years in planning and estimating for heavy civil earthworks and
mining construction projects; experience in permafrost regions as well as
Arctic construction techniques and logistics would be considered definite
assets; Proven skills in quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimating
techniques; Demonstrated understanding of civil engineering and construction
processes; Proficient in the use of computerized systems and project
estimating tools; BS Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Mining Engineering or
equivalent; Excellent English - verbal, writing and speaking
