General Requirements
§ Communicate in English, both oral and written. For Project
Coordinators/Managers and
Project Engineers this must be at a very good level. Other positions require a
working ability only to communicate in and read English language as this skill
will further increase in the position together with in-house training.
§ Must have good computer literacy; Microsoft Office (excel, power
point, word, and Visio)
§ Ability to work on his/ her own initiative but function as an
integral part of a team
§ Ability to work fast, multi-task and tight deadlines
§ Related experiences in Engineering, Procurement Construction (EPC)
or Consultant on
Mining Development, Mineral Processing and General Infrastructure. Oil

1. Project Coordinator/Manager
§ Bachelor degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering preferred
§ Minimum 15 years' experience
§ Strong experience in multi-disciplinary engineering and site construction
§ Experience in multi-disciplinary project feasibility studies will
be an advantage
§ Experience in estimating and scheduling will be an advantage
§ Able to work with both design engineers and field engineers to take
projects from
engineering level to construction. Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
within the project environment.
§ Able to function effectively in both field and engineering office
locations; i.e.
manage and develop engineering solutions, able to manage and directly develop
construction method statements, manage contractors and technical package
Vendors.
§ Able to write professional technical reports in English Language.
§ This role would also suit a senior Project Engineer ready to move
to the next level
2. Lead Civil/ Structural Engineer
§ Minimum bachelor degree in Civil (higher degree preferred)
§ Minimum 15 years' experience in engineering design, especially in
mining structures;
civil/ structure/ geotech
§ Understands engineering design process, from creating basic
documents (specifications,
design basis, etc.) up to detailing documents (calculations, drawings,
etc.)
§ Skilledin analysis software (SAP 2000/ Staad Pro/
Prokon, etc.) and excellent in Excel spreadsheet and other office software.
§ Strong ability to work with engineers in other
Departments (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.), coordinating the works, supervising
and monitoring/ directing subordinates.
§ Understand and expertise in detailing works (connections, anchors,
embedments, etc)
3. Jr. Civil/ Structural Engineer
§ Minimum 4 years' experience in designing industrial steel building
structures (preferably
in mining industry), including loading, framing, modeling (using SAP 2000 or
STAAD Pro or other similar software), connection detailing, designing
foundations including anchors.
§ GPA min. 3,0 (scale A = 4)
4. Lead Mechanical Engineer
§ Minimum bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
§ Minimum 15 years relevant experience
§ Familiar with Mechanical Engineering Software such as Helix,
PV-Elite, CAESAR, etc. would be an advantage
§ Strenght in
development of design and engineering calculations, datasheets &
specifications, MTOs, RFQ packages and TBE's.
§ Strong ability
to work with engineers in other Departments (Civil, Electrical, etc.),
coordinating the works, supervising and monitoring/ directing subordinates.
§ Knowledge
in fabrication is preferred; Materials Handling Systems, pump and piping
systems, etc.
5. Mechanical Engineer
§ Minimum
bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
§ Minimum
10 years relevant experience
§ Familiar
with Mechanical Engineering Software such as Helix, PV-Elite, CAESAR, etc. would
be an advantage
§ Strength
in development of design and engineering
calculations, datasheets & specifications, MTOs, RFQ packages and TBE's.
§ Able to
manage designers and drafters
§ Knowledge
on mining bulk Materials Handling Systems will be an advantage.
§ Knowledge
in fabrication is preferred; Materials Handling Systems, pump and piping
systems, etc.
6. Contract/ Commercial Engineer
§ Bachelor degree in
Engineering, Law, or equivalent practical experience
§ Minimum 4 years direct
project experience in procurement and contracting for EPC, EPCM, construction
and other related services in the mining, minerals or O&G sectors.
§ Familiar with FIDIC
terms & conditions (white & yellow book), Incoterms 2001, tax
regulations, insurance and risk management
§ Capable of
undertaking commercial contract evaluations and drafting changes in English
language.
7. Procurement
§ Bachelor degree in
engineering; civil, mechanical or electrical is preferred
§ 4 – 8 years relevant experience
in similar position preferably on mining and/or energy sector projects
§ Relevant experience
on vendor expediting, technical clarification, Commercial Bid Evaluation
(CBE's) for equipment and contractors with ability to manage project procurement
schedules. Experience in QMS or similar dedicated procurement software well
regarded.
§ candidates with
comprehensive existing vendor networks in the mining and/or energy sectors are
preferred
8. Project Engineer
§ Minimum
bachelor degree in Engineering (all disciplines) higher degree preferred
§ Minimum 8
years' experience in the relevant industries
§ Able to
work with both design engineers and field engineers to assist the Project
Manager to take projects from engineering level to construction. Ability to
manage multi-disciplinary teams within the project environment.
§ Able to
function effectively in both field and engineering office roles; i.e. develop
engineering solutions and calculations, able to develop construction method
statements, manage contractors and technical package Vendors.
§ Able to
write professional technical reports in English Language.
9. Designer (all disciplines)
§ Strong experience in AUTOCAD
with familiarity in ETAP, SAP 2000, Tekla, etc highly regarded.
§ Positions are
available for senior (10 years plus), experienced (5 years plus) and junior
roles.
10. Jr. Planner / Scheduler
§ Bachelor degree in
civil engineering preferred.
§ 2 – 4 years'
experience in similar position preferably in mining and/or energy sectors.
Direct project experience is preferred.
§ Good knowledge of
technical project activities in mining and/or energy sectors to deliver a
project, i.e. knowledge of construction methods and durations across a relevant
multi-disciplinary project.
§ Competent in Primavera
is mandatory with MS Project proficiency assumed.
11. HR Admin
§ Minimum 1 year
experience in HR/ Administration, preferably in the Mining, Minerals or O&G
sector.
§ Experience related to
actual projects will be well regarded.
§ Minimum Diploma
degree.
§ Strong skills in MS
Office software are required.
