We are as a leading Recruitment Agency in Indonesia, have conducted Mass Recruitment Campaigns for our clients GASCO and BOROUGE in 2013. Now, we will conduct another Mass Recruitment Campaign in Jakarta with our client KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) in early 2014.

The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) is an oil company headquartered in Ahmadi, Kuwait. It is a subsidiary of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, a Government-owned holding company.

Kuwait Oil Company’s Responsibilities under the KPC’s Umbrella involve the exploration, drilling and production of oil and gas within the State of Kuwait. The Company is also involved in the storage of crude oil and delivery to tankers for export. KOC is the world’s fourth-largest oil exporter urgently needs qualified personnel complying to the below conditions:

1. SENIOR ENGINEER PLANNING
JOB SUMMARY :
Directs and coordinates the activities of the Maintenance Support & Reliability Team Planning Section engaged in the scheduling, planning and contracting out of all Mechanical and Instrument work, as per Company’s procedures and in providing service to Maintenance Team when required.

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES (MAJOR DUTIES)
a. Supervises and directs the activities of assigned personnel.
b. Directs and supervises the preparation and planning of all maintenance programs. This includes, identifying all individual items of plant and equipment and assessing the maintenance requirements in terms of what parts/materials/manpower are required to carry out the work and monitoring spare parts for Company Operational Plants.
c. Provides cost estimate for each individual item of maintenance work.
d. Discusses the timing of the maintenance work with the Production Operation and Maintenance Teams giving full consideration to minimizing the operational disruption that will be caused.
e. Coordinates the implementation of maintenance projects which involve modification to existing plant and equipment.
f. Directs the preparation of technical specifications, bill of materials and scope of work for each planned maintenance activities and liaises as necessary with Contractors site Maintenance Engineers to ensure that the work is properly carried out.
g. Liaises with the Corp. Inf. Technology and Operation Groups to implement computerized systems for maintenance schedules, plant history data and equipment failure data.
h. Assists in the preparation of annual revenue and EOR revenue budgets for maintenance works.
i. Arranges the scheduled inspection of all plant equipment and liaises as necessary with the Inspection and Corrosion Team.
j. Ensures that all Company safety procedures relating to inspection and maintenance are strictly adhered to.
k. Actively applies the risk management process in their duties.
l. Commits and works to deliver good risk management performance.
m. Seeks to improve knowledge and understanding of effective risk management principles and practices through continuing personal development.
n. Performs related duties such as writing technical reports and feasibility studies, assisting with the development of graduate engineers, ensuring proper training of assigned personnel, operating PC and adhering to HSEMS rules/regulations.

WORK CONTACTS:
a. Has regular contact of own/other Teams up to Team Leader level to discuss maintenance requirements and to present with justification, time schedules for carrying out the work.
b. Has regular contacts with Contractors to discuss the technical specifications of the maintenance works.

INDEPENDENCE OF OPERATION:
a. Reports t Team Leader Maintenance Support and Reliability/Gas MS&R.
b. Works according to established maintenance standards and/ or manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedules. Work is subject to review and direction.
c. Accountable for ensuring that all plant and equipment is maintained on a regular and proper basis, minimizing disruption to Company operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
a. Education & Training : University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
b. Experience (General & Specialized) : 8 years experience of planning and supervising maintenance work in the oil industry.

2. ENGINEER PLANNING
JOB SUMMARY:
Plans and prepare all maintenance shutdown programs, identifying all individual items of plant and equipment and assessing their maintenance requirements in terms of funds, materials, manpower and ensuring the implementation of planned maintenance programs.

FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES (MAJOR DUTIES):
a. Directs the activities of assigned personnel.
b. Prepares all machinery preventive maintenance programs and plant statutory survey shutdown schedules.
c. Reviews equipment history and plant inspection reports and co-ordinates/prepares all relevant technical documentation such as scope of work, preventive maintenance procedures and bar charts.
d. Estimates costs and arranges for obtaining all the resources needed for carrying out the planned works (i.e. funds, materials, special tools, man power). This includes, monitoring cost during execution and ensuring that work is being completed within the planned time and budget.
e. Monitors and follows up the implementation of planned preventive maintenance programs, Major Projects/Repair Works in liaison with various teams, to ensure proper and timely completion of the work.
f. Follows up during plant statutory inspection with Maintenance Teams and Inspection & Corrosion personnel and ensures additional works are recorded/closely monitored.
g. Controls Maintenance Technical Library, keeps proper history records of all plant/equipment under Maintenance Team control.
h. Trains UD Engineers assigned to the section as part of their development program, and assists in the improvement of knowledge and performance of subordinate personnel.
i. Actively applies the risk management process in their duties.
j. Commits and works to deliver good risk management performance.
k. Seeks to improve knowledge and understanding of effective risk management principles and practices through continuing personal development.
l. Carries out other related duties such as arranging for pre shutdown meetings, revising shutdown schedules, operating PC, adhering to HSEMS rules and regulations and all relevant requirements of funds and materials.

WORK CONTACTS:
a. Has regular contacts with employees of other teams up too Sr. Engineer level foe liaison, planning and co-ordination purposes.
b. Has a regular contacts with contractors personnel involve site inspection of work (plant survey and equipment overhaul/planned maintenance in general).

INDEPENDENCE OF OPERATION:
a. Reports to Sr. Engineering Planning.
b. Establishes and monitors planned maintenance programs to ensure they are implemented according to established procedures and engineering standards. Supervisor is kept advised of work progress who spot checks completed work.
c. Accountable for preparing and ensuring the implementation of planned maintenance programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
a. Education & Training : University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
b. Experience (General & Specialized) : 6 years’ experience in engineering and maintenance work in the oil industry, including 1 years on site familiarization.

3. CONTRACT ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION :
1. Prepares all types of tender documents for all contracts requirements.
2. Evaluates all bids submitted.
3. Process the award of contract and extend advisory support during contract administration and amendments.
4. Assist in claim evaluation and processing when requested/needed.

Education qualification : Bachelor’s Degree Engineering

Work experience : More than 8 years within Petroleum and Oil and Gas industries.
